- Msizi Mavundla – Publisher & Station Manager: “With over 10 years of experience in radio, Msizi has a passion for connecting people through the power of broadcast.”
Msizi Mavundla, a prominent figure in South Africa’s cultural, creative, and media sectors, has had a remarkable career spanning over two decades. His diverse contributions as a record producer, songwriter, composer, actor, publisher, author, and entrepreneur have significantly influenced African culture, youth development, and community cohesion.
Mavundla’s initiatives, such as the Sounds of Azania Cultural & Creative Incubator and Rappers Without Borders, focus on promoting African music, arts, and culture, empowering youth, fostering social cohesion, and providing platforms for artists to thrive. Additionally, he founded Funkytigers Entertainment, KwaZulu-Natal’s first record label and music publisher, working with various talented artists and supporting local talents through initiatives like the Fukula Music Competition.
His entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Fanivirus Online Stores, serving as a Retail Manager at Phandapreneurs, and being the Creative Director at Hundred Aikas Sportswear. In the media sector, Mavundla established Urban Sounds Magazine, Mzansi Mail Newspaper, and the African Pupils Voice Newspaper to address the needs of musicians, record labels, and event promoters while promoting independent media voices.
Furthermore, Mavundla’s involvement in broadcasting, events promotion, television, and leadership roles at various companies underscore his commitment to showcasing African storytelling, talent nurturing, and promoting African excellence. As an accomplished author with several published books, an actor in popular TV shows, and a presenter and TV producer on Gud TV Africa, Mavundla’s ongoing efforts continue to shape South Africa’s creative and media landscapes.

- Jennifer Mdluli – Editorial Director & Host of ‘Career Pathways’: “An education expert with a love for helping students find their career paths.”
Jennifer Mdluli is a versatile individual, working as an editor, writer, radio host, TV producer, and youth developer. She is deeply passionate about telling stories and empowering young people. Jennifer hosts the #KeepHumble Breakfast show, where she discusses various topics ranging from current events to personal growth. She also hosts The Soul of Africa Thursday edition #Sifun’Umsebenzi, Career Pathways and Jenny Love Show addressing employment and youth empowerment, featuring the organization Activate Change Drivers. As a writer, Jennifer contributes to various platforms, covering social issues, lifestyle, and entertainment news. Her work challenges traditional thinking and encourages discussions on societal change.
In her role as a TV producer, Jennifer has worked on the Phenomenal Rise Show and GUDTV Africa, providing inspiration and learning opportunities. As a youth developer, she has facilitated numerous projects to empower young people. Jennifer is part of Activate Change Drivers, a network of over 4000 youth, and has started the African Youth Hub (African Youth Radio) to guide the youth of Africa in making smart life decisions and discovering their purpose.
Jennifer’s personal philosophy focuses on the power of storytelling to empower and inspire, promoting inclusivity and challenging societal norms. She aims to create content that resonates with her audience, leaving a lasting impact on their perspectives. Her ultimate goal is to tell African stories in an authentic way. Jennifer believes in adapting plans rather than changing goals and finds motivation in witnessing young people succeed in their passions.
Moving forward, Jennifer is working on new radio shows, articles, TV productions, and youth development initiatives to inspire more individuals through her work. Whether she is on air, writing, or engaging in community efforts, Jennifer remains committed to empowering and uplifting others. Her dedication to youth development, gymnastics coaching, and media work reflects her ongoing journey towards making a meaningful impact and fostering connections through storytelling and advocacy.
